Looking at all the chat about par scoring and allot of  it coming from Park Langley, I think they should concentrate on getting five players out every Tuesday first, then worry about par scoring, and also giving the opposition a bit more notice!! Not 7 0clock on the day!

Tell you what, let's just get the facts straight shall we.

1. I got notified around lunchtime, having previously lost one player already, that my replacement had just injured himself.
2. I spent the afternoon chasing around trying to get someone so that you, Paul would get a game.
3. Having failed to do so, I rung your captain on numerous occasions (it wasn't picked up - just going to voicemail).
4. I rung Paul Buckner - same result.
5. I rung the club and sent Andy a text so that you didn't go down there and get no game (which you didn't).

So, whilst we didn't get 5 people out it certainly wasn't for want of trying, and had anyone picked up their phone it would have been earlier. Coming from T.Wells that's a bit rich anyway. You're not exactly a paragon of virtue yourselves in that respect are you?
A thorough reply as expected and a little bitter, I'll leave at that. Look forward to the match at your place in the meantime have a great Summer.
Can't quite see the "bitter" angle. By the way, have a look at your 2nd team's result this week to see what I meant in my final sentence (thanks to Sly Fox for that one)! And two missing the week before!!
Think thats the nail on the head there Clive!

It's not easy getting a side together sometimes and better to let one guy down than cancel and let 5 down. I did the same this week when short in the Outer Kent, calling, emailing, texting there is only so much you can do after all, only to realise the match was next week...

By the way I think we have 5 for next week at yours, but we are more than happy to play against a 4 man team without Steve!
Only 4 at the moment but will have 5 (just going through the old Biggin Hill phone contact book now!)

HS, If you find any spares in that book be sure to let us know………ironically given how the post started at the moment we’ve only got 4 for next week. Glass houses and stones!
LOL!!

Hold on, hold on....

T Wells only 4 players last night and Paul Mcleod's name not within those present! Pot. Kettle, Black
Good to see 5 'club players' playing for Rodmersham last night - even if the No 5 was a late adopted son (thanks Graham, and a good win to help seal the victory for Rodmersham)

Paul's away on holiday. But rest assured Priory Squashers, when he returns he'll resume his new self appointed role as the 5 player enforcer! *

* Tunbridge Wells team exempt.
Where was Paul McCloud tonight? T.Wells only 4 again.......... Come on Paul back it up
Still on the beach T Woods, you do lead an exciting life! Just to end all of this, for clarity, I deliberatley travelled back from Sheffield to play this game and was a bit disappointed that at 710 that PL only had 4, London expained Very thorougly why and fully understand!! If you guys want to go on and on about this, then fine crack on!!
