Looking at all the chat about par scoring and allot of  it coming from Park Langley, I think they should concentrate on getting five players out every Tuesday first, then worry about par scoring, and also giving the opposition a bit more notice!! Not 7 0clock on the day!

I think that Tom may be referring to T.Wells only having 4 players for a HOME match against the Mote this week.
His team mates seemed pretty ambarrassed by his comments bearing in mind they only had 4 again and we travelled with 5. I got home at just before 7 had to walk straight out the door and could have stayed home. They only had 2 players that stayed after the match (Jolyen and Andrew) at which point we thought it wasn't worth them cooking although they were willing to and so left without any food, our choice though!!
who was your 5th player Adrian? I didn't realise they were playing with 4 again
The guy that marked my match. I normally play myself at 5 but because we were already all there or on route we all turned up. Paul (who didnt play) kindly marked the 4th string because at that stage you only had 3 players in the club and he had decided he wouldnt play so i played at 4. The guy that played at 3 for you went home straight after his match without offering to mark. It was more like a Mote home match!! I don't think Jolyon and Andrew were too impressed by the end as i would have been if my team had all done that!! At least Ian who played me marked a game and stayed for a beer!!

the problem is there actually are only 4 members at T Wells which makes it difficult to get a team out each week. I was there till about 9 o'clock though and no one asked me.

Yeah just a little joke to be honest.

I don't get it, was Paul there (he marked a game) but decided not to play and the team then only had 4 when you had gone with 5...

I think that it's likely to be Paul Adam who would have travelled and not played.
