kent mens team win

the mens kent team played in cambridge this weekend in the 1st stage of div 1.
knowing that 2 victories on saturday would pretty much assure us of qualifying for the promotion group in march and meaning that we could relax on the saturday night, the team hammered cambridgeshire 5-0 with only 1 game dropped. in the afternoon it was a different story with it coming down to the last match and steve london having to save match ball to clinch victory against leicestershire 3-2. with only 5 games needed on sundy against the weakest team(middlesex) we enjoyed a few beers in st.ives and returned to win 3-2 on sunday morning to top the group.
