(England) 11-8, 11-3, 11-8 (35 minutes).
Top seed Alan Clyne powered home to the $10,000 Kent Open title with a
straight-games victory over surprise finalist Jonny Harford.
Clyne won 11-8, 11-3, 11-8 in 35 minutes, finishing strongly in the

BUSY DAY OF FUN SQUASH BEFORE KENT OPEN CLASH
Despite the disappointment of John Rooney's withdrawal from the Kent open semi-finals due to food poisoning, there was still plenty

This has been a dramatic year for all those involved in Kent squash and racketball. The tragic death of our long-serving secretary, Ian Wright, brought home to us all the enormity of the tasks he undertook for the benefit of the game.
Finding a team of people to take over the tasks he carried out became our number one priority and we are grateful to Len Locke, Mike Sofianos and Joe Magor for stepping forward to share a massive workload.

The new season is about to begin at local level and the Kent SRA is busy with a whole range of programmes.
Our new Coaching and Development Team will be into its stride very shortly with major efforts going in to promote the sport all over the county.
We are in the process of ordering new kit for all of the county teams, from the youngest juniors to the oldest vets, and various discussions over fashions and colours have taken place during the summer.
