Hi Mark. As you will see from the other postings, it's been a busy few weeks! The main final was won by Steve Richardson, who beat Galen Le Cheminant in a brilliant final. Steve won in straight games 11-4, 11-5, 12-10 but Galen certainly entertained the crowd with some amazing shots.
Losing semi-finalists were Neil Baker and Hadley Neale.
Elliot Knight won the Silver final, beating former Lambs player Sean Hayden 8-11, 16-14, 11-4, 9-11, 11-7 in a real marathon.Losing semi-finalists were Paul Newvell and Shaun Atkinson.
With Hany Abou Taleb, James Evans and Ryan Duke competing, it was good to see so many Kent youngsters enjoying some valuable competition in another brilliant day of squash.
Thanks again to Simon Scott of Harrow Rackets for providing the prizes and a special mention to Joe Wheatley, who ran the bar, cooked the food and entertained the spectators with his unique brand of squash! Well done mate!
Andy Murphy also deserved a special prize for proving that Priory boys can find their way beyond the M25.
Dates to follow soon for 2010.
