The Events section on this website is pretty sparse. It could do with being set up as a 12 month perpetual list including all singles, doubles and racket ball events. A simple one line description with the date and ideally a link to the entry page. It would help people plan their diary and probably lead to a high participation!! Could it be set up so anyone could add an additional event? Could it be set up with an archive link to past results? Could it be set up where anyone could add a competition? I’m not volunteering but I’m sure there’s someone out there that would enjoy setting it up properly and keeping it up to date? It’s just a thought —–what do you think??!!
‘m due to have a meeting with the Kent committee so if you have any thoughts or suggestions on how we can improve the Kent website, please reply to this post.
Could be anything from layout improvements, styling, missing information etc etc
www.Kent-Squash.co.uk is now your official new home for squash and racketball within the county. Whilst the old site still displays the leagues and information, this will be your interface and community site designed to make it easier for squash and racketball players and supporters to build a thriving community.
From this site you can view the two main mens and womens Kent county Leagues: North West Kent (Priory) and South East Kent . These links will also give a directory for teams and clubs within both regions.
Whilst you’re on the site why not get as much out of it as you can by getting involved in the discussion forumwhere you’ll get all the advice and help you need along with some good old fashioned banter. If you have a news story, match report or perhaps just something you’d like to share with the site members you can also post an article which can be featured and displayed on the front page.
If you’re looking for a squash or racketball event we have them all listed here or you can add an event to get you the attendence you need.
If you belong to a club or want to build your own community you can set up a group with your own discussion forum, pictures + lots more.
Lastly we have hundreds of players within kent who are always looking to get games and meet new playing partners. You can search for players in your area and at your ability.
I think that’s about it but if you do need help just post a question in the discussion forum and we’ll be quick to respond. Oh and please also let us know your feedback and suggestions.

We’re delighted to announce that this site will be the brand new ‘face’ of Kent Squash & Racketball. Following a trial and poll to gauge user reaction, it was agreed by Kent Chairman Alan Thatcher this ‘facebook’ style of site was exactly what the county needed.
Gone of the days whereby the site was left to a small number of individuals to populate, now anyone can submit news items, discussion posts, events, pictures, videos and much more. Moderators of the site can choose to ‘feature’ certain articles depending on relevance and overall interest to ensure the site is kept informative & up-to-date.
Other brand new features will include a player search facility designed to help bring together players looking to find similar standard playing partners, team managers to find new members and coaches looking for new players wishing to improve their game.
We will be publishing a more helpful hints about how to get the most out of the site however if you have any suggestions whatsoever, please reply to this post or send me a message.
I’ve set up this site as a possible alternative to the current Kent website mainly becasue it’s a much easier platform for everybody to get post information, add pictures and much much more!
Obviously the site needs contact but with your help we could get a really good site that we can all be proud of. All feedback welcome!
